This weekend was the first time I ever had my son sleep over. It went very well with virtually no problems and we had a lot of fun. On Sunday I decided to take him to his first Brewers game (he’s 11 months old) with a few of my friends. I have to say that it was probably the best day of his life and my friends were just total rockstars about the whole thing. Not only did they spoil him with gifts (Corey Hart jersey, hat), but they just looked out for him and wanted him the whole time. It’s crazy when you just suddenly realize how good of friends you have. For me it was when we were in our seats, section 128 which if you’ve ever been there is directly in the sun, and I realized that it was way too hot for Nolan and needed to get him out of it. First, the girls took him for a walk then he came back and I decided to take him to the Fridays and relax in the AC. John came with me and I felt kinda bad about it, but then he manages to get us hooked up on the Friday’s Front Row balcony which is both close and shaded. We took some awesome pictures out there (which I should have up shortly) and Eric Gagne blew the game. Afterward, everyone who had originally planned to go home decided to come with me to hang a bit more. It was really kind of touching and if I wasn’t so stilted emotionally I probably could have cried.
