I think I am actually excited about a college football game. #1 Alabama CRIMSON TIDE at the LSU Tigers. I might even bet on it and everything. Weird.
I lived in Alabama for a few years and it always amazed me how crazy everyone was about college football. It wasn’t a matter of discussion, I HAD to make a choice. Alabama or Auburn. It’s the kind of question they put on job applications in Alabama. There is no “both” the way some people can get away with liking the Cubs and the White Sox. It is do or do not. Love or hate. There’s nothing like it and I always enjoyed the passion people had for it. I chose Alabama. Now their #1 with the best coach in the country going into his former team’s home where he might get killed. I think I’m excited. I might even watch it and everything.
