This is something that’s kind of exciting for me happening on the internets right now. It’s Joss Whedon’s latest project, a musical blog. The whole idea came to him during the writers strike as a way to “prove” that artists don’t need studios and they can do it on their own. While I don’t agree with this viewpoint (for one thing, how is this going to make any money?), I am still pretty excited to see it. I’m a big fan of Joss Whedon and will follow just about anything he does, but his whole performance (and those of others) during th strike makes me think even more that maybe most writers should just stick to being writers because they lost that thing so bad and their stance wasn’t strong to begin with. I guess I could get into it, but South Park did it so much better it’s not even funny buddy.
Regardless, Nathan Fillion and NPH in a superhero musical should be one of the cooler things to come out this year.
