Sometimes I feel like Miller Park Drunk is taking over my life. It started as just a fun thing to do, but now it’s getting so popular and I enjoy writing it so much that I think about it most of my day. I only update it Monday-Friday, but I try to get 3-4 updates in a day. We have started to average a solid 100-150/day and have hit as high as 1500 based on more popular sites linking us. The thing that I really like about it though is that I pretty much just do whatever I want and not care if people like it or not. Sometimes I think that’s the key to being successful with this sort of thing. While everyone else is writing about statistics and how much they hate this person or that person, I am pretending to be Alyssa Milano, posting pictures of idiots and ripping off LOLCATS.
I am really enjoying myself, but I think it’s costing me some. I never have time for anything else it seems. I’ve neglected this blog quite a bit and a lot of other things have suffered because of it too. I guess this wouldn’t be a big deal if I was, you know, making money off the site but of course I am not. Hopefully, I will design some t-shirts soon that I can sell. I am having trouble brainstorming ideas for that one though. Just like everything I write for the site, I need it to be good and I need it to be original. But yeah, one day. If you were curious why you haven’t seen me updating lately, that’s why. I’ll try my best to get back here more, but like I said Miller Park Drunk is taking over my life.
