Since I like to live a lifestyle that far outreaches my means I decided that I should attend tonight’s Cubs/Brewers game. Should be a good game with CC Sabathia taking on Ryan Dempster. I still don’t think Dempster is this good, but he’s had a good season and has been the Cubs best pitcher. Nowhere near as good as Sabathia though. Check out their WPA (Win Probability Added).
Sabathia: 4.81
Dempster: 2.89
It’s going to be interesting to see how the Brewers look. This is basically their season as they “need” to win and they have their best pitcher on the mound to do it. Sure, it doesn’t help that they are playing their biggest rival in a hostile away park but dems da breaks. I am hoping the Brewers win as I still want them in the playoffs, but if you think I am going to actively cheer for the Brewers in the bleachers at Wrigley you are out of your mind.
