Wall-E
My dad is a huge Pixar fan. He’s got the Woody character on his desk and sees every movie on opening night. I like the movies, but have never been head over heels for them. I never would have seen Cars if it wasn’t for a flight and I still haven’t seen Ratatouille. That being said, I absolutely died for this movie. I seriously think it’s among the ten greatest thing I have ever seen in my life. I own an iDance Wall-E which is probably my favorite purchase of the year and am getting a poster to hang on my wall. Thank god my son isn’t old enough to watch it because I would probably own about 5000 other Wall-E products.
Hellboy 2
This was both awesome and okay at the same time. I was very excited to see it and it didn’t let me down. I had a few before going and this made the movie experience very enjoyable as me and my friends were cheering aloud at all the right parts. The Golden Army kicked ass, but overall the movie left me a bit flat. I really liked it and I’ll watch it again, I’m just not in that big of a rush to do so.
The Dark Knight
I went to see this with a couple friends of mine and the girl I sat next to and I were literally laughing at everything the Joker said. Sure, we were the only ones in the theater laughing (thus proving our awesomeness) but that doesn’t change the fact that it was hilarious. I like Bale as Bruce Wayne, but his Batman voice is ridiculous and the Harvey Dent stuff was just ehhh to me. Overall, The Joker owns this movie and I still rank it among my favorites of the summer simply because of Heath Ledger. Too bad he had to go and die.
I’ll write another one in a couple days about the movies I have been watching on Netflix lately as I have been watching like 2/day and having been loving it.
