I love, love, love, love Paul Rudd. I love David Wain. I want to see ROLE MODELS. I want to meet Paul Rudd. This is clearly the perfect event for me.
We’ve got an exclusive AICN screening of ROLE MODELS, starring Paul Rudd, Seann William Scott, Jane Lynch, and Elizabeth Banks. The film will screening on Monday, October 13 at 8:00pm at the theater in downtown Chicago (the location will only be given to contest winners.). We’ve go the whole theater, so every winner will get into the screening as long as you show up on time.
And here’s the best news: Paul Rudd will be attending the screening to mix it up with our readership. I’ve interviewed Paul before, and he’s an absolute blast to talk to, so I expect tickets for this event will be gobbled up fast. ROLE MODELS marks Paul’s return to working with director David Wain (WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER, THE TEN), and Rudd even gets a co-screenwriting credit on this film (along with Wain and Ken Marino, a frequent collaborator of both men).
Of course, there are issues. I have Nolan on that day and he doesn’t leave til 7PM. But that stuff can be worked out, first I have to win the contest. The contest was to explain why you aren’t a role model in 75 words or less. My attempt (it’s only 85% true) after the jump.
I’m drunk all the time. This could be overlooked. What I do when I drink can’t. I am a drunk texter and if there is something America’s youth needs to avoid, it’s drunk texting. I ruin relationships, I apologize to friends weekly and I am the #1 recipient of “Don’t ever call me again.” Rapists, murderers and graverobbers all rank above me. Those people have issues. I’m the issue, I don’t deserve to live.
