Jim Mora says the rest of the NFL thinks his Seahawks are soft.
Mora said that “sources” informed him San Francisco coach Mike Singletary told his 49ers the night before the teams played last month that if you rough up the Seahawks they won’t respond.
Mora told his Falcons the same thing when he was in Atlanta from 2004-06.

Seahawks interview Rod Marinelli for defensive coordinator
This is not to say that he is untalented necessarily. Maybe some people are more cut out for coordinator positions. Maybe no one could have done anything with that Lions team. But like the sign says EXCELLENCE is our goal and I don’t know what kind of message 0-16 sends. That’s all.

Who cares if we’re terrible? Who cares if Matt is the #3 QB? Who cares that we’re better off losing and getting a better draft pick? This Sunday is my birthday. This Sunday is the last game Holmgren will coach in Seattle. This Sunday the Seahawks play the Jets. AND ITS ON TV IN WISCONSIN!! YES YES YES YES!!!!!

The Seahawks played yesterday and I lost my Super Bowl. Oh well. It ended up bringing out one bright spot and that is the greatest text I have received in 2008. “Its not the hawks day but at least the jonas brothers brought their a game”

I had a friend IM me today about my recent anti-Tony Romo stance. He reminded me that I should like him for his most inept moment of all time that directly led to a Seahawks win. I realized that he was right, I love Tony Romo because I could watch this all day.
